TA Futures Sdn Bhd was formed as a subsidiary company to engage in options and futures trading activities. It secured memberships in Kuala Lumpur Options & Financial Futures Exchange and Malaysia Monetary Exchange and commenced trading on 15 November 1995

 

Oct

TA Securities Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TA Enterprise Berhad and a member company of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange has been converted to a public limited company and has changed its name to TA Securities Berhad (now known as TA Centre Berhad) with effect from 19 October 1995.

 

Sep

TA Enterprise Berhad was awarded the “1995 Asian Management Awards in Financial Management” on 14 September 1995 by the Asian Institute of Management of the Philippines in collaboration with the Far Eastern Economic Review.

 

July

TA Enterprise Berhad was ranked 5th in “The Asiaweek Hot Stocks 500” in terms of 3 years Earnings Per Share growth in Asia inclusive of Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

TA Enterprise Berhad had allotted a bonus issue of up to 462,250,000 new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each to be credited as fully paid to its existing shareholders on the basis of 1 new ordinary share of RM1.00 each for every 1 existing ordinary share held.

 

TA Securities Sdn Bhd and Botly Securities Sdn Bhd introduced the integrated desktop broking systems called TA-Online and Botly-Online respectively to provide channels for clients to access real-time stock market and to place trade orders directly through electronic means from the comfort of their homes or offices.

 

Feb

TA Enterprise Berhad acquired a stockbroking seat and set up an associate company in Sri Lanka called TA Securities Lanka (Pvt) Ltd to carry out the business of stockbroking.
