Contribution To Society
TA Group continued to play an active role as a responsible corporate citizen. Significant donations were made in aid of social and medical development in our country and also sizeable contributions to improve the living standards of the poor and needy. Following are some of the donations that were made to the various sectors of our society from July 1997 onwards, which exceeds RM10,000 per donation.
2009
December
Alicia Loh Charity Dinner, and book sales
On December 18, 2009 TA Group in conjuction with Delta Trend Golf and Leisure Holidays Sdn Bhd organized the ‘Alicia Loh Medical Fund’ charity dinner at the Six Happiness Restaurant, Selayang. The charity dinner was to help raise funds for Alicia Loh, a 13-year-old girl who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. We netted funds totaling to RM 60,619.00 to bless Alicia Loh for the charity dinner.
TA Group have also helped raise funds for Alicia Loh by promoting book sales of her novel ‘The Last Chapter’ via poster advertisements on Menara TA, email announcements, speeches at special gatherings and company newsletters. TA’s effort in advertising her books totaled to 240 books sold, netted funds totaling up to RM 3,600 worth of book sales.
November
Terry Fox Run
On November 2009, forty staff from TA Group participated in the Terry Fox Run 2009 at the Perdana Lake Gardens. The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive run-for-charity event held in numerous regions across the globe in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox who lost one leg to bone cancer at the age of 18 years. In the late 70’s, Terry Fox ran across Canada with one prosthetic leg to raise funds for cancer research and awareness.
Charity Premier Screening of Disney’s ‘A Christmas Carol’
On the same month of November 2009, TA Group organized a charity premier screening of Disney’s a Christmas Carol at TGV cinema at KLCC on 14 November 2009. From the two shows, TA Group has netted funds totaling RM 40,364.75 to bless the following beneficiaries:

2. Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home
3. Sanctuary Care Centre
4. Bridges EIP Centre for Children with learning disabilities

TA Group Donated RM 10,000 as sponsorship for FGBMF Golf Tournament Dinner held on 29 October 2009
Gethsemane Medical Care Sdn Bhd
TA Group donated a new Nissan Urvan window Van worth RM 90,392.80 in support of the travelling need of the Gethsemane's members in their courses of giving free medical care to the needy/poor underprivileged people in Malaysia

Joshua Ee Leng
TA Group Sponsored £ 10, 800 (RM 61, 138.80 equivalent) as Joshua's Scholarship for an undergraduate bachelor degree in the University of Manchester, UK.

TA Croup donated RM200,000 as financial assistance purchase chairs for a new church
building in Batu Caves area, to be completed in October 2009.
Desa Amal Jireh
T A Group donated RM13 ,132 of worth furnishing in support of their needs.

River of Life Sanctuary
TA Group donated RM100,000 in support of a fund raising project to build a church on a piece of land at Desa Sri Hartamas given by the Government.
Persatuan Rumah Kids
TA Group donated RM10,000 in support of the needs of the Orphanage.
Cheras Orphanage Home
TA Group performed renovation works worth RM10,972.50 at the Orphanage.

Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship Berhad (“FGBMF”)
TA Group donated RM15,000 in support of the medical fee of one of the FGBMF member’s daughter who required an urgent operation.

Malaysian Care
TA Group donated RM10,000 in support of this charitable organisation’s funding needs.
The Assemblies of God of Malaysia
TA Group donated RM10,000 in support of its EduCare/WidowCare Fund Raising activity.
Montfort Boys Town
TA Group donated RM19,090 to finance their purchases of computing equipments.
Shepherd Centre Foundation and Persatuan Penyayang Nur Iman
TA Group donated RM30,800 in support of Shepherd Centre Foundation’s daily operational funding needs, and to finance their purchases of kitchen equipments.
In addition, TA Group donated RM20,250 worth of bedding needs to both Shepherd Centre Foundation and Persatuan Penyayang Nur Iman.
Desa Amal Jireh
TA Group donated RM37,972 in support of their daily operational funding needs, and to finance their purchases of furniture, kitchen equipments and computing equipments.

TA Group donated RM10,000 to Full Gospel Assembly Berhad in support of the Myanmar Cyclone Relief Fund.
Embassy of the People’s Republic of China
TA Group donated RM10,000 to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in support of the relief efforts of China Earthquake victims

TA Group donated RM10,000 to Mercy Malaysia in support of the Myanmar Cyclone Relief Fund.

TA Group donated a Maxus Van Ambulance worths RM169,800 for purpose of providing medical aids to the Desa Amal Jireh and Shepherd Center communities.
